In the year 2023, the Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca proposed to start a priority project, over several years, to support the development of the Pediatric Oncology Department of IOCN “Prof. dr. Ion Chiricuță” from Cluj-Napoca.
The project in 2023 consisted in equipping with specific furniture the space used for the preparation and administration of oncologic treatment in pediatric oncology (treatment room and intensive care unit) and the rehabilitation of the ward with beds for 41 patients and also extensive works to restore the ward with installations, painting, flooring, etc., to the standards required for hospital spaces. Amount spent for OncoPediatric stage 1 = 348.626 lei total.
For the continuation of this project, OncoPediatrics 2, consisting in equipping the OncoPediatrics Ward with 24 beds, 33 bedside tables and of course extensive installation works, painting, flooring, etc., to the required standards for hospital spaces, as well as for the next stages dedicated to other needs and facilities of the IOCN “Prof. dr. Ion Chiricuță” from Cluj-Napoca, we initiate the RotaRun for Charity Project.
